Message from the Executive Director

It is a busy time of year for everyone, but I would like to ask for your support and assistance with a pending grant application I have mentioned at several at Board meetings.

Following is an information and instruction flyer for our NAA grant consideration. We have requested $82K to purchase new, energy efficient refrigerators and stoves for all of The Marvin apartments (existing appliances 25+ yrs old). Because it is an energy saving project, we were accepted for a 100% CT tax credit for donor contributions for the project.

As you will note, there is a very tight window for donors to register and donate (9/15 – 10/3). This is available for any CT based, or doing business in CT, organization. If you know of potential donors, kindly share this information with them and, I would be glad to assist them in walking through the brief donor application process.

Businesses requesting tax credits under the Neighborhood Assistance Act Program must electronically submit Form NAA-02 through the DRS website. The link on the website will be available September 15, 2022 through October 3, 2022.
